Food and wine are meant to be enjoyed together—which is why our tours always include a picnic lunch in the cost of the tour. Our picnic features locally-cured charcuterie (pork-based), artisan cheeses, seasonally available fruits and vegetables, crackers, and locally crafted baguette and spreads. Tour prices also include pick-up and drop-off to many Kelowna and West Kelowna accommodations, transportation in comfortable, air-conditioned vehicles, payment of all tasting and winery/tour fees, and chilled bottled water.
Kelowna is the birthplace of winemaking in British Columbia; known for its top-quality wines that regularly win national and international awards.
Our Kelowna tour is one of the best ways to experience Okanagan wine country: tastings at 4 amazing local wineries and a delicious picnic lunch, all wrapped up in a 5-hour tour within the Greater Kelowna area!
Kelowna is truly the birthplace of winemaking in BC—the first vineyards in the Province were planted here by Father Charles Pandosy in 1859. This region is known primarily for cool-climate varietals such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Riesling, although some wineries are producing red blends made with fruit sourced from vineyards further to the south. Stunning views of the city, surrounding mountains, gorgeous vineyards and orchards, and our beautiful lake all set a dramatic backdrop for this tour.
As with all of our tours, a picnic lunch consisting of fresh local produce, locally-cured charcuterie, artisan cheese, bread, crackers and spreads is included in the cost of the tour.
