The best value wine tour in Kelowna! Our guests will experience the scenic rolling hills, vineyards, orchards and panoramic lake views of Kelowna. This is where the first vineyards in the province were planted by Father Charles Pandosy in 1859. The tour begins with an exclusive private facility tour and a reserve wine tasting at Quail’s Gate Winery in West Kelowna. Guests will learn about the process of making wine from grape to glass, beginning in the vineyard, moving into the winemaking facility, and concluding with a premium tasting of Quail’s Gates’ award-winning wines.
As with all of our tours, a picnic lunch consisting of fresh local produce, bread and spreads, charcuterie, and artisan cheese is included in the cost of the tour.
After lunch, we love to visit Tantalus Vineyards, an award-winning winery that produces some of the best Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in Canada. Those of you with a sweet tooth will be treated to some of the Okanagan’s finest icewine…on us, of course!
Other stops may include a tasting of wines at Mount Boucherie Estate Winery, Sandhill Wines, Cedar Creek, and St. Hubertus.
*Please note that on some days, this tour will begin with a facility tour of Cedar Creek Winery and continue on to the West Kelowna wineries in the afternoon.
Duration of tour: 5 hours $125/person
